This product is an antacid suspension that is used to neutralize excess acid in the stomach. It is also highly effective in reducing colic and winds in small babies. The package insert specifies that the dosage should not exceed the maximum recommended dose in any 24 hour period. The ingredients in each 5ml dose of the product are magnesium hydroxide 106 mg and sodium benzoate (pres).
